First Relay For Life Fundraiser For 2016!
The Stanley Jay Tucker Band will be playing on a multi-band bill to help raise money for the upcoming Relay For Life event in Bakersfield. The band’s set is 9:30pm-10:00pm. Ticket’s are $10 in advance and $15 at the door, so come on out and show your support and have a great time with a day and evening of incredible music from the participating bands! The event starts at 4pm sharp.
It’s A Rock & Roll Double Header!
Catch the Stanley Jay Tucker Band and Syster-D live at the Old River Monte Carlo Friday, Sept. 25th and Saturday, Sept 26th. The show each night kicks off at 9pm. It’s both bands, both nights so be ready for a weekend of heavy Rock & Roll!

Ticket’s are $10 at the door so come on out and show your support and have a great time with a day and evening of incredible music from the participating bands! The event is Sunday, April 19th and it all starts at 1pm with the first band hitting the stage at 2pm.
The Boys Will Be Rockin’ The Texas 28!
Come on out for a night of scorching rock ‘n roll at Texas 28 on Saturday, March 21st. Opening the show is a band all the way from Hanford California. Get a serving of Vinyl Mandibella’s hot rock ‘n roll at 7:00pm, followed by the swamp metal music of Bakersfield’s own Black Water Soul at 9:00pm as you get your rock ‘n roll fix going. Then The SJT Band hits the stage at around 10:45pm to finish off the sonic assault. So come early and get down with all the bands and show some local support for the out of town guest band, have some drinks and enjoy the evening. See you there!

The Bako AlleyFest
An awesome night…
Everyone had a great time at the first Bako AlleyFest. We hit the main outdoor stage in the alley at 5pm and cranked out originals as well as a couple of classic covers such as Voodoo Chile. After our set The Iron Outlaws took the stage and continued the musical festivities with their brand of outlaw country punk rock. Vlad Arthur then took the reins with their progressive alternative hard rock, followed by the eerie metal rock of Sunflower Dead. Hossbruten kept the onslaught going and got the crowd ready for headliners Adema, who took the crowd on a ride with their classics and more recent music. Can’t wait till the next Bako AlleyFest!
Ready to Rock…
The band is getting ready to kick off the first ever Bako AlleyFest this Saturday in the Wall Street Alley, between Jerry’s Pizza & Guthrie’s Alley Cat. The beer starts flowing in the beer garden starting at 4pm and the band hits the stage promptly at 5pm so don’t be late!

It’s a wrap!
Finally finished shooting the last of the drum footage for the third video late last night. Got it edited into place and it looks great. Will be uploading the first promo video to YouTube this week so stay tuned.
Late night lighting…
Spent last night setting-up the lighting and camera framing for the final music video drum shots. Getting ready to shoot the footage this morning and then edit it in place.
Drums are in…
Just woke up after last night’s video shoot, the drums are now completed for the second music video and edited into place. The lighting and camera set-up took a bit longer but the results were great. This afternoon is dedicated to lighting the drums for the third video and tonight they get shot. We’re almost there!
A little time off…
Didn’t do any shooting last night but instead relaxed and just enjoyed the process of what is happening. Spent a couple of hours lighting the drum set for the video shoot for the second music video tonight. This has been quite a journey making these videos, a lot of hard work but definitely worth the effort. I have uploaded some more photos from the drum lighting session last night, enjoy.
First session of drums shot…
Finished filmming the drums for the first music video last night. Loaded the footage and edited it into the video and it looks great! Moving on to the drums for the second video tonight and should be done with all the drum parts by the weekend. This has been such a cool project and I can’t wait to get them all finished.
Promo video edited…
Just finished editing the first promo video for the upcoming album “American Revolution”. It turned out very nice and the footage looks great. Will be uploading to YouTube with links on FB early this week. Still have some more insert shots to shoot Sunday. It is all starting to come together now.
Let the loading begin!
Started loading the footage late last night from the past 5 days of shooting music videos for the upcoming new album “American Revolution”. It all looks really great and I can’t wait to dig into the editing of these new videos. I will be posting more pictures soon as well as some short promo videos. Stay tuned for some really cool new stuff. Thanks everyone for all your support and encouragement!
The big shoot ends…
Completed the final 10-hour filming session at around 7am this morning, what a night! Altogether there were 3 music videos shot, still have some insert shots to complete this coming week but for the most part it is mostly in the can. Can’t wait to start editing and see how it all fits together.
Another late night…
Had a very productive night of shooting last night, wrapped up around 4:30am. Finished shooting the first of three videos for the upcoming album. Night 3 begins now as the second video shoot is getting underway. If everything goes well tonight it is off to the next location in the building for the final video. Getting really great footage, can’t wait to move on to the editing phase. Will be posting some photos soon.
Working on more mixes…
The final mixes are almost complete for the new album “American Revolution”. The songs are really sounding great and I am looking forward to moving onto the mastering phase. Will be spending the next few nights shooting 3 music videos in a great old building with loads of character. Spent a long night last night getting all the gear loaded in and set-up, ran some test footage to check out the lighting and now will be starting the actual shooting this evening. Also shooting behind the scenes footage for a short video on the making of the music videos. It has been a long 2 year process but it has definitely been worth it.
Working on mixes…
In the studio doing final mixes on the up coming new album “American Revolution” which will be released this summer. This album has been in the works for nearly 2 years and is quite a departure from any of my other music. The music on this album reflects the true core of my musical spirit and has been a real labor of love for me. I look forward to its release and subsequent live performances. Stay tuned for new singles and accompanying videos.
